Technology is a catalyst to innovation & greatness in every field, and women are essential to the impact that technology has in the world. Our mission is to create a series of events that elevates the voices of technical women, by allowing them to share their insights and expertise.Â
Â
Our event is for all engineers who identify as women or non-binary in a way that’s significant to them. Anyone is welcome as long as they respect that this is a place for women's voices to be heard. We look forward to seeing you there! #TechTalks4TechWomen
Ishika is a Senior Product Manager at Oscar Health, where her team is building out a modern day claims processing system, that supercharges expansion and powers cutting-edge tools like providing members estimates for their doctor's visits prior to the event. Prior to Oscar, Ishika was at Compass, a technology real estate startup, working on data infrastructure, search and member applications. Ishika started her career as a growth equity investor and investment banker at the Raine Group and Merrill Lynch, doing M&A and investments for high-growth technology and media companies, and she graduated with a Finance degree from the The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of work, Ishika enjoys running (is currently training for the marathon!) and exploring New York's food and music scene.
Jonas is a senior software engineer at Teachers Pay Teachers, and focuses on designing distributed systems and software architecture. She has led software projects for organizations in Beijing, London, and New York, and has applied technology to diverse challenges such as mission impact evaluation, editorial transparency and trust, and online learning and collaboration.
Janani is a backend engineer with 10 years of experience building and architecting various systems. She started her career building desktop applications and then pivoted into e-commerce web development and ad tech. She's now a Technical Lead at Mark43 where she builds 911 dispatch systems.
